Overview

Zuthree Manager is a powerful phone management software designed to simplify the configuration and management of your VoIP phones.

To effectively utilize Zuthree Manager, you’ll need the following components:

  • VoIP Phones: Ensure your phones are compatible with Zuthree Manager. Refer to the supported phone models list for compatibility.
  • Zuthree Manager Server:
    • Install Zuthree Manager on a virtual or physical machine running the Debian operating system.
    • A user account with sudo privileges is required.
  • PBX System: A functional PBX (Private Branch Exchange) system is essential for making and receiving calls, whether within your company or externally.

Phone configurations are periodically synchronized with the server. Therefore, changes you make may take a few minutes to apply to the phones without requiring a manual restart.

Zuthree Manager offers two database options:

  • Internal SQLite:
    • By default, Zuthree Manager utilizes an encrypted SQLite database stored locally.
    • This provides convenient local storage but requires you to implement your own backup strategy.
  • External PostgreSQL:
    • Using an external PostgreSQL database offers enhanced security, scalability, and flexibility.
    • With PostgreSQL, you can leverage existing database backup and recovery mechanisms, allowing you to implement robust data protection policies.

Supported PBX systems:

This list is not exhaustive. Zuthree Manager is compatible with other PBX systems thanks to its PBX-agnostic design.
